This week we had plenty of indoor activities ...
We brought the cash registers, and the children are making money out of different colored paper
We also brought a few keyboards and laptops, phones and stationary. We have a very productive office/ bank. Calls are being made and letters are being sent.
We used balance beams and blocks to create intricate and complex structures and obstacle courses, that sometimes took up most of the blue rug.
The nameless manipulative toy that Anna dug up on Ebay is still a hit. We use it to build wheels, candy-shooting machines and rescue devices.
Clean up has become another form of group effort, reinforcing our value of kehilla, as the children work in teams to clean up the different areas of the classroom
We played in the rain outside, and found an earthworm. We talked about how it came out of the ground because the ground became too wet from the rain. We "saved" it and put it on the ground near the neighbor's fence. We then found another HUGE WORM! It was very exciting, and worth getting a little wet.
Have a wonderful new week
