Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

Shavua Tov Nachshonim Families,

Our Purim exploration ended this week as we continued to read books, and listen and act out the Megillah story of Es'ter Hamal'kah while shaking our groggers and booing at hearing Haman's name.

On Tuesday Menachem visited, and we celebrated Judah’s 3rd birthday with homemade mini muffins.

Wednesday we played in the social hall. Tati from Edah sang some songs with us and even showed us sign language to the words. We also baked Hamensation with strawberry jam which was added to the Mishloach Manot baskets we made using paper plates.
Thursday was a gloomy and rainy day but that did not stop us from coming in our costumes and experiencing an all-school parade ending up in the Social Hall where we sang and danced with Melita.
Friday was our traditional challah baking and our Magal Shabbat.
As we mentioned before while talking with the yelidium we noticed that they are all very interested in music, instruments, dancing and singing. For the next few weeks will be exploring all the above so if you play an instrument, love to sing, dance or read  let us know we would love to have you come in and share with the classroom. We would also like to ask if you have any books related to our music exploration please bring them in. We will make sure they get back to you.

Shalom,
Miri and Jennaba
