Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah - Nevonim

February 9, 2018
24 Sh'vat, 5778

This week we used craft sticks as props for action play

Alexandra's mom, Aliza, read us the story "Mr. Tiger Goes Wild" at circle time. We love it when parents come to read to us! If you are interested, you can register here

We made pom pom showers! and then cleaned up as a team!
We had a group conversation about respecting each other's space and work, and how to communicate without hurting our friends, even when we are upset.

Colin brought his amplifier and proved again that it's all about that bass

We read and acted out "Pete the Cat and His White Shoes"

We discovered a new pet spider, and named it Spidey /Aurora. We also made spider webs with Elmer glue and string

Outside, we built the double swing, and we played with the hammock. We also spent time jumping on cushions.

Quick reminder- next Friday, the 16th, is staff development day. School will be closed

Shabbat Shalom,
Anna, Colin and Angelina
