Shavua Tov Nachshonim Families,
It's been a busy and exciting week for the Nachshonim! We continued with our construction exploration with the yeladium painting pieces of wood that are now in the yard and being used for building. The children have been busy with dump trucks and mixing sand and water to create cement in the yard.
Nevonim invited us to share Havdalah with them, and Eitan, who come back from his trip to Israel, got to share the beautiful gift he bought back, Havdalah candles, besamim bags and a book all about Havdalah. Thank you to Eitan and his family!
We had a special guest, Linda, Noam’s mom, who baked stuffed apples, read books and did gardening yoga with us. The yeladium experienced first hand what it is to have sav'lanut/patient, as they had to wait there turn to pour and stuff their apples. They all loved their stuffed apples! If you are interested in coming in to lead an activity with the children, email Lauren to set up a time.
On Thursday we made the challah dough for Shabbat, once again we practiced sav’lanut as the yeladim waited to measure, pour, and stir.
