Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah - Nevonim

Shalom Families,

We had a short week but did quite a lot of things:
As part of our Rosh HaShana theme, we made apple circles with our special apple spiral slicer. We hung the peels to dry in the Kitah
We also had a Rosh HaShana Seder with our beloved former teacher, Judy Massarano. She explained about the different traditional foods and what they represent. Of course, we got to taste everything.
We have three Shofarot in the Kitah, and we are practicing blowing them. Some of the kids are really good!
We made yummy honey cake, that we hope you all enjoyed during the holiday
We played with Geo-boards and explored shapes
We played with pom-poms in the sensory table
We welcomed Gal, who came back from Israel. Yay!!
We made new play-dough, it's 'elephant' color!
We had an awesome session of "The floor is lava" game outside. The kids made walkways using wooden blocks on the wood-chips and moved from area to area
Last but not least, we celebrated Eliana's birthday!

See you all tomorrow morning!

Anna, Angelina and Colin
