Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah - Nachshonim

Shalom Nachshonim Families!

We have had a very full and exciting week. Here are some of the things that happened at school this week.

Preparing for sukkot next next
- we have been playing with our toolboxes, tools and wooden work bench.
- we also have safety goggles for building.

Exploring color
- Inspired by the book called " Little Blue and Little Yellow ", we have made paintings with blue and yellow paint. We have hung them on the wall.
-  We are learning about how primary colors can be mixed together to make new colors.
-   We discovered a rainbow on our ceiling! It's from the sunlight reflecting off a CD on the windowsill.  We now have four CDs to play with in the science area and we can make our own rainbow
-  We are enjoying a book called "A Rainbow of My own" by Don Freeman.

- We made tiny drawings.

- On Friday, we baked challah for Shabbat.

Gmar chatima tova,
We hope everyone has a meaningful fast for Yom Kippur.
Ofra and Jennaba
