Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah - Nachshonim

HaShavuah - Nachshonim
January 10th, 2016 - Tevet 29th, 5776

Welcome back from our winter vacation.  It was so great to see how were all adjusted coming back from winter break.  We are talking more and growing so fast.

Highlights from our week:

* We started our week with rain.  Jumping in a big puddle in our yard

* We observed an earth worm and a spider

* We welcomed Lilah full time to our kitah

* We played with playdaugh, sticky playfoam

* @ the sensory table we played with: Cacao mulch, playfoam and wild animals, blue water and sea creatures

* We soaked wheat seeds, they sprouted and we planted them in earth a few days later

* We hang a metal board for out magnets and then we handled and checked the tools in our tool bag

* We cut yarn with scissors

*   We made a collage using ready cut pieces from magazines

* We danced HaGeshem song (the rain) with scarves

We had the pleasure of having both Menachem and Melita come and play with their guitars on their scheduled days

And finished our week with Challah making and pretend shabbat gathering with our community

We hope you had a rejuvenating and restful weekend

Anna and Vered
