Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah ~ Nevonim

Hello, all! Here are some of the highlights from last 2 weeks:
The whole morning on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving was spent with the Nachshonim, combining both classes.
How does corn become cornbread? We made and ate cornbread, and talked about the things for which we are thankful.
ABC bingo was enjoyed by many children.
Nature collages were made out of natural materials.
Kids talked about rock and roll, and listened to a Chuck Berry CD, then used blocks as guitars to play and dance!
So much fun to play in the rain--hooray for rain!
Chummus! We made it from garbanzo beans and ate it-yum.
How does a candle melt? We made art from wax drippings.
Antiochus the king and Judah Maccabbee
Nerot--we had fun practicing setting up the chanukiyah
Under our chanukiyah curtain there are shows being staged.
Kids are singing and dancing to Chanuka music with Melita
And of course, spinning sevivonim!
Shabbat Shalom U'mevorach, and Chag Urim Samayach!
Happy Festival of Lights
Judy, Ofra, and Ruth
