Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah ~ Nevonim

HaShavuah ~ Nevonim
October 30, 2015 ~ Cheshavan 17, 5776

Here are some highlights from this week with the Nevonim:

While exploring parashat vaYera we ...
  • turned our Sukkah into Avraham and Sarah's tent
  • welcomed in our friends and played in the tent
  • made pancakes, reminding us of Sarah's cakes for their visitors
We traveled through the desert and
  • made animal footprints using toys and paint
  • saw our own footprints in the sand pit!
Outdoors we ...
  • shared the play yard with the Nachshonim class
  • played with washed babies, and ooblek and sawdust in the sensory table
  • used trikes and trucks on the ramp
In new explorations we...
  • investigated mezuzot and the klafim that is inside
  • took a walk around the shul to see how many and the different styles of  Mezuzot we could find
A special Mazal Tov to big sister Elia and her family on the birth of their new baby girl and Matthew welcomed a new cousin!

Shabbat shalom Umevorach!
 Ruth, Ofra and Judy
