Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah - Nevonim

January 9, 2015 ~ Tevet 18, 5775
Hello, all, and happy secular new year. It was a week of welcoming everyone back to the Kitah, including our beloved Caitlin, who will be with us during this month of January.
This week we reestablished our routines, as we got back into singing prayers/tefilot, sharing snack and  and enjoying lunch together. We practiced respect/kavod when Melita visited with us for music, and when Menachem returned to share weekly Torah study/parshat haShavua with us.
This week we:
-engaged in sensory play with fingerpainting
-practiced counting and measuring when we made strawberry pancakes
-used fine motor skills to draw on felt
-used our large muscles to run around the courtyard, ride our trikes, and climb
-celebrated Menashe's 5th birthday-Happy Birthday/Yom Huledet Samayach
-learned of brave women in Shemot, including Yocheved, Miriam, and Paro's daughter
-welcomed many guests, including new babies and grandparents to pretend Shabbat!
Shabbat Shalom U'Mevorach!
Judy, Ruth, Simone, and Caitlin
