Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

HaShavuah - Nevonim

HaShavua - Nevonim
19 December, 2014 ~ 27 Kislev, 5775

This week was full of Chanuka fun, as we painted with dreidels that spun and spun!
Birthdays were shared with two of our friends,
We ate scones, jam and berries, the fun never ends.
Yom Huledet Samayach--Happy Birthday to you, Laney who's 5, and Noah, 2 + 2.
We ate levivot--latkes, you know, and sufganiyot with jam in the dough.
Shu-Ren School visited here--they learned about Chanuka, then sang with good cheer.
We sang in Hebrew, they, in Chinese,
Then welcomed us to their preschool on University!
We lit candles daily and sang the brachot (blessings),
We watched the colorful, flickering nerot.
Shabbatosaurus returned with adventures to share,
And went home with a new family. She'll have fun, I wonder where!
We played in the rain and created tissue paper art,
When the paper gets wet, a rainbow you can chart!
Chag Urim Samayach and Shabbat Shalom,
Be safe, warm and dry, both away and at home.
Judy, Anna and Ofra
