Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child.
We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents.
In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning.

Election Day in the Nevonim Room!

We had our own mock election in the kitah today, complete with ballots, a polling station and "I voted" stickers. The results;

16 votes for Obama, 2 for Romney (although the children might have thought they were voting for Rami!)

We also voted on important classroom decisions;
18 votes to have lunch outside today and 1 vote to eat inside
10 votes for burritos next week and 9 for pizza (it was too close to call at first)
14 votes to have juice at this meal and 3 to have milk
It was a very exciting, well-run and fun election, as well as a great learning experience.
